OUR GOAL
To provide efficient and effective procedural and secretarial support services to the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Offices of the Head of State and the Council of Deputies, as well as Government Ministries and Corporations.
The Cabinet Secretariat is one of the key divisions in providing support to Executive government.
The division is headed by the Assistant Chief Executive Officer - Cabinet and currently comprises eight staff members, all situated on Level 5 of the FMFMII Government Building.
Their responsibilities are
- To provide and improve procedural and secretarial support to the Prime Minister and Cabinet
- To provide and strengthen secretarial support to the Offices of the Head of State and the Council of Deputies
- To ensure and strengthen efficiency of Cabinet's records management
- To conduct the Cabinet Liaison Officers Forum
