The Samoa Ports Authority is honored to receive the Talofa with a Smile Excellence Award – Team
Category, as one of the top five Agencies, recognized during the Public Service Excellence Award
2024, on Friday 22nd November 2024.
The Excellence Awards was part of the official program, of the celebration of this year’s Public Service
Day, organised by the Samoa Public Service Commission.
The Excellence Award is a testament of the ongoing support and commitment of SPA employees, under
the leadership of its Board of Directors, General Manager and Management, to ensure the delivery of
excellent customer service during its line of duty. The award also acknowledges the commitment by the
Authority to upgrade its port infrastructure for the comfort and safety of the travelling public.
To further enhance our approach to achieve customer service standards, the SPA continues to invest in
providing customer service trainingsto all its staff, with the recent three-days Customer Service Training
conducted from the 19th – 21st November 2024.
It is therefore a rewarding outcome for the Authority and the staff is being applauded with
acknowledgment of their continuous work in all operations. The support of all our partners and the
public is also acknowledged.
We will serve with integrity, providing customers with support and excellent service.
