New LTA Chief Executive inked by Cabinet

Younger sister Sagauga Leilani Miriama
Galuvao is following her older brother Tuiletufuga Leasi John Galuvao’s
footsteps into the Office of the Chief Executive Officer to lead the Land
and Transport Authority for the next three years.
Tuiletufuga Leasi is a former LTA Chief Executive of over 10 years.
Sealed by Cabinet approval Wednesday this week, Sagauga is one of
five applicants considered by the Selection Panel.

A graduate from the University of
Auckland, NZ with a Bachelor of
Science and Computer Sagauga is
ranked by the Selection Panel to
possess the Most Experience
complimented by her notable
achievements as a Public Servant
of over 10 years.
And for the last eight years she
served as the LTA’s ACEO in
charge of the Regulatory
Division.

Galuvao’s predecessor Taatialeoitiiti Agnes Tutuvanu-Schwalger of over
6 years resigned due to family obligations.
