Samoa Chamber of Commerce announces new Executive Council 2020-2021

The Samoa Chamber of Commerce and Industry closed off its call for nominations for its Executive
Council on Wednesday 5 th August 2020 at 4pm. This was done prior to the scheduled AGM Election next
week Tuesday 11 th August.
The nominations were checked and signed off on Wednesday 5 th August at 4.40pm by the Electoral
Commissioner, Faimalomatumua Mathew Lemisio. The election process strictly followed the Samoa
Chamber of Commerce constitution, and no late nominations were accepted by the Secretariat.
In accordance with the Samoa Chamber of Commerce constitution, the nominations received at the
closing time of 4pm filled all the constitutional roles in the Executive Council and as a result, there will
be no election as was scheduled for next week Tuesday 11 th August 2020.
The Samoa Chamber of Commerce Executive Council for 2020-2021 is as follows:

The Samoa Chamber of Commerce farewells Tuiaopo Andrew Ah Liki and Tupai Klaus Stunzner from its
Council and welcomes on board Pitovaomanaia Mayday Cai as an Executive Member and Vaatuitui
Apete Meredith to the role of Past President.
The Chamber’s Annual Report 2019 will be distributed to all members and stakeholders next week.
